What is Unsent?

Unsent is for the words you never sent. Find the AI version of someone you know and say what you’ve been holding back — your thoughts, your feelings, the messages you typed and deleted. Say it all, without them ever knowing.

Who is Unsent for, and what problem does it solve?

Unsent is for anyone who’s ever wanted to tell someone something, but couldn’t bring themselves to say it. It gives you a private place to speak to an AI version of that person — so you can release what’s been stuck, without the fear of being heard before you’re ready.

Does the real person see what I write?

No. You’re talking to an AI version of them, not the person themselves. What you say in Unsent stays in Unsent — they don’t get notified, and they don’t see your words.

Who receives what I write?

Nobody in real life. Your messages go to the AI version of someone you know. It’s a space to say the unsent — not a delivery channel to the actual person.

Why talk to an AI version of someone?

Because some words are hard to say out loud. An AI version lets you practice honesty, feel through what you’ve been holding back, and say the things you typed and almost sent — without the pressure of a real reply.

How do I set up an account and use the main features?

Download Unsent from the App Store, open the app, and sign in with phone verification. Then find or create the AI version of someone you know, and start saying what you’ve been holding back. For walkthrough help, visit Support or email support@unsent.chat.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, open Settings (or Profile) and choose Delete Account. Confirm the prompt to permanently remove your account and associated data according to our Privacy Policy. If you cannot complete deletion in-app, email support@unsent.chat and we will help.

Does Unsent include user-generated content? How do I report or block?

Yes. Profiles and conversations may include content created by users. If you see something inappropriate, use Report on the content or profile, and use Block to stop further contact. Reports are reviewed by our team. You can also contact support@unsent.chat.

What external services does Unsent use?

Unsent uses cloud infrastructure to run the app, phone-based authentication for sign-in, and AI services to power conversations with AI versions of people you know. We do not sell your private conversations. See the Privacy Policy for how data is handled.

Does Unsent work the same in every region?

Core features — talking with AI versions, account management, reporting, and blocking — are intended to work consistently across supported regions. Availability may depend on App Store distribution and local network conditions. We do not currently offer region-specific regulated features.

Is this private?

Yes — the point of Unsent is that you can say it without them ever knowing. Still, please review the Privacy Policy for details on what information is collected and how it is handled.

Is Unsent meant to replace real conversations?

No. Unsent is a private place for the words you haven’t said yet. It’s for moments when you need to get something out — not a substitute for talking to someone in real life when you’re ready.
